Gun Show Sales

They have a system. At gun shows all firearms are tagged at the entrance to the show. Local police are notified so they can patrol and watch out for illegal sales outside. Computer stations are set up for sellers to do national background checks. No buyers can leave the gun show with a firearm without documentation of a proper sale. This state’s plan is an effort to keep guns out of the hands of criminals and the dangerously mentally ill without infringing on Second Amendment rights. There is no requirement for gun show background checks at the federal level but New York’s plan could good be a national model. Just sayin'.
